Mechanical Galv-Plating Corp. Expansion Completed

Mechanical Galv-Plating Corp., a well-known and respected leader in the field of mechanical plating and galvanizing, has recently completed construction on a 25,000 sq. ft. building expansion. The facility addition will give Mechanical Galv-Plating over 45,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing and warehousing capacity at its Sidney, Ohio based headquarters.

Founded by Al Baker in 1980, the company took root in a small industrial and farming community in western Ohio, along the 
I-75 / I-70 corridor. The Sidney location is centrally located to manufacturing in the East, Midwest and Southeastern U.S. markets as well as Eastern Canada.

Starting with only a 6 cubic ft. plating barrel 20 years ago, MGP Corp., still family owned and operated, has grown steadily. Today, the largest operation of its kind in North America, MGP has 7 production lines, operating 3 shifts 24 hours daily with over 160 cubic ft. of plating capacity.
